You can help Beverly make a difference in South Sudan!

I am beginning the 2023 New Year by participating in an immersive mission trip to South Sudan. I am leaving in early January. Not only is this mission trip a great resolution to start the New Year, it is an opportunity for you to be a part of my mission journey too!

I am a mother, a grandmother, a retired pediatric nurse, and hospital administrator having worked for over 50 years in the pediatric hospital environment. Since retiring a few years ago, I wanted to offer my years of experience to organizations struggling to support themselves and those they serve. I embarked on my first mission journey in 2017 and have been seeking hospitals in need of assistance. When asked why I want to go all the way to Africa to volunteer my answer is simple— Every human life on earth has equal value. I want the people living in remote areas of the world, who are struggling to survive, to know they are valued and not forgotten.

My mission assignment will take me to South Sudan where measles, malaria, and malnutrition are common. My goal is to provide education to the medical and management team to enhance their skill level and enable them to improve the quality of care they provide.
